Hi! We’re the family behind Kids Gallery — dad Rai, mom Maria, our son Santi, and our doggie daughter Lupe. We’re Chilean by birth, but American at heart. The four of us are the team that brings Kids Gallery to life.
Rai and I met back in 2012 at university, where we both studied engineering. We got married in 2018, Lupe joined our family in 2021, and after four long years of waiting and treatments, our sweet Santi finally arrived in 2024.
In 2024, the four of us took a three-month camper trip across the American West. We completely fell in love with this country, and that journey inspired us to move here and start our creative business in this beautiful place.
One of the biggest blessings in our lives is having my sister, my brother-in-law, my goddaughter Ema, and the very famous Brownie (their dog!) living in Larkspur. So naturally, Marin became the perfect place to begin this new chapter.
So, why did we create Kids Gallery?
It all started during our time in Marin and with our deep desire to create something meaningful through creativity and art — something that truly matters for both kids and adults. As parents, we’ve seen how art — even the simple act of our son picking up a pencil — can turn moments of chaos into calm, laughter, imagination, and connection.
We fell deeply in love with Marin County, every little corner of it. Creating art experiences here feels like an honor and brings us so much joy.
First came the crafting parties… and then Color Your Marin was born — a book that was first dreamed up in June 2025 and finally launched in March 2026.
Our dream is to fill every corner of Marin with color, joy, and gratitude. This book was created not only for coloring, but also for learning, reflecting, displaying the illustrations, and celebrating Marin through art and happiness.
